Dr. Tekie
Education
Dr. Tekie holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of British Columbia, where she developed a deep understanding of social work principles and practices. Additionally, she earned an EdD in Education from Western University, enhancing her expertise in educational strategies and research methodologies. Dr. Tekie also completed specialized training in producing Section 211 reports and representing the views of children through the Justice Institute of British Columbia. Dr. Tekie hold a degree in Child and Youth Care Counseling from Douglas College, further enriching her knowledge in supporting the well-being of children and youth.
